The blade is constructed from 440 C Stainless Steel and the wooden handle is made from lightweight Dark Brazilian Jarrah. A protuding bolster of Aquamarine Kirinite has been added as a guard to alert fingers to 'go no futher'.

In particular, knives used in salty and continuously wet environments need more care than normal kitchen knives. Always wash and dry your knife after use. Do not leave it laying around in wet environments or wet leather sheaths.
