A lovely little short handled traditional Santoku designed for smaller hands.
Bursting with colour in the handle, and incorporating a range of pink, purple, red and deep grey carbon kirinite 'slices' and pohutukawa wood, this knife is unique and stylishly different.
It has a full through tang which has been peened at the end for strength and aesthetic appeal and it has an angular shaped handle butt which, according to Willie, is 'flat like a washing stone'. We won't go any further with that!
Designed as a versatile kitchen utility knife, it is a little work horse in the kitchen and just loves to chop through meats, vegetables and herbs - and scoop them into a pot or pan for you afterwards.
Its largely flat edge blade has a satin polish finish and the characteristic curved spine of a traditional Santoku knife
The Spinner Traditional Santoku
All handcrafted knives need to be cleaned and oiled after use to maintain the blade and handle in good condition.
