The santoku is a Japanese utility knife used for chopping, slicing, dicing and mincing of vegetables, fruits, herbs and light meats.
It is an extremely versatile and light weight kitchen knife and its wider blade allows for scooping and depositing of chopped foods directly from chopping board to pot or bowl.
This knife is super sharp and supports a gentle rocking action on the chopping board due to its slightly curved blade.
The rounded wooden handle, which sports a brass bolster, fits comfortably in the hand and is made from Brazilian Jarrah - while the blade is made from N690 super stainless steel which infuses it with strength as well as an all round durability. Decorative file work has been applied to the back of the blade (as seen in the image).
A beautiful little knife to handle in the kitchen.

All handcrafted knives need to be cleaned and oiled after use to maintain the blade and handle in good condition.
