The santoku is a Japanese utility knife used for chopping, slicing, dicing and mincing of vegetables, fruits, herbs and meats.
It is an extremely versatile and light kitchen knife and its wider blade allows for scooping and depositing of chopped foods directly from chopping board to pot or bowl.
This knife is super sharp and supports a gentle rocking action on the chopping board due to its slightly curved blade.
The rounded parquet wooden handle is made from Olive Jarrah and Pohutukawa interspersed woods and the blade is made from N690 super stainless steel which makes it both strong and more rust resistant.
A beautiful little knife to handle in the kitchen.
Traditional Santoku Knife with Parquet Handle
All handcrafted knives need to be cleaned and oiled after use to maintain the blade and handle in good condition.
