This is definitely not the kind of knife you hand your mother in law if she's angry with you.
 
What can't this knife do!!!
 
It's as robust as any knife you have come across. 
 
Based on a Russian Special Forces design, it is designed to survive a Siberian winter and it: 
can chop wood,
be used as a hammer (with its 6mm spine)
has a flint strike for firemaking
has a hilt which comes off which can be used as an anchor or can be grinded to a spike or a chisel (depending on your preference)
has a paracord handle wrap which can be unravelled to make a bivouac or a snare.
 
All in all, a pretty nifty affair!  
 
Weighing in at just over half a kilo, with a sturdy spear point tip, it's not going to be the lightest thing in your pack but that is where its strength is.
