The blade is made from 440 C Stainless Steel. The handle is made from G10 Phenolic Resin (Orange, Black and White) which is fluid resistant - molded to fit in your hand and provide a good grip.
Small bolster shape is inbuilt in to the handle to let your fingers know where to stop

All handcrafted knives need to be cleaned and oiled after use to maintain the blade and handle in good condition.
In particular, knives used in salty and continuously wet environments need more care than normal kitchen knives. Always wash and dry your knife after use. Do not leave it laying around in wet environments or wet leather sheaths.
