This is a very special heavy duty commemorative knife, made by Willie in memory of his friend Ash who passed away last year.
Ash and Willie enjoyed many a sky dive together and their love of adventure sparked the genesis of the design of the 'Geronimo'.
Built to withstand punishment, the 5mm spine of this hunting, skinning and survival knife is as strong as an ox. It won't flinch from chopping wood, nor run from what is required of it. It is a heavy and formidable blade.
The shape of the N690 Stainless Steel blade is that of an enlarged drop point skinning knife but the blade is much wider (at 37mm across at its widest point).
Geronimo's handle is a respendent shiny Black Magic Pearl kirinite resin which is embedded with flecks of blue and deeper blacks. As you turn the knife, while using it, you can see the different shades and glints of colour appear.
Complete with a sling hole to hang the knife up from or thread a lanyard through, it is a multi purpose outdoor tool of magnitude, versatility and strength. And, in true bushcraft style, the blade has been furnished with a satin finish so that it doesn't reflect too much light while outdoors.
Not for the faint hearted, it is a knife to keep and pass on forever.
The Geronimo Outdoor and Hunting Knife
All handcrafted knives need to be cleaned and oiled after use to maintain the blade and handle in good condition.
