Made from an old English file and Tiger Yellow kirinite this knife is a replica of the famed knife carried by Harry Wolhuter who reputedly fought off a lion that attacked him in Kruger National Park where he was working as a game ranger.
Its 01 high carbon steel content makes it extremely strong and as such, it is a useful and faithful hunting companion. The knife's full tang blade was first hardened and then softened again in order to drill slinging holes in the lower handle which gives it the versatility of being strapped to a piece of wood or bamboo to make it into a spear.
Once rehardened, it was hand polished to retain the original markings of its industrial steel origins.
Heavier and relatively larger than most normal hunting knives its use is designed for general purpose hunting and survival tactical situations.

All handcrafted knives need to be cleaned and oiled after use to maintain the blade and handle in good condition.
